I always liked the 28bhs but it does not offer any clothes or towel storage. It appears they dropped the jack over jill losing that rear cabinet. Useless bunkhouse that can't keep enough gear inside for a weekend.
Never understood the 2 double bunk option, now it is standard. Takes away the dresser that use to be next to the upper single bunk. Don't know how kids get in the top upper bunk. When son was younger, he had a hard time getting up there and that was using the bottom double bunk as a step! Now Theres more sleeping and no where to put clothes. Makes no sense.
Mike you bring up a good point. Experienced campers quickly recognize these flaws due to past experience however newbies tend to overlook these short comings because they lack real experience.
Jayco while still a decent company is suffering from being too large to be managed effectively and efficiently.
They are trying to be all things to all consumers across all product lines. There decisions appear to be not totally though out at times, requiring too many changes and revisions.
In the end they are alienating some of their core customers.
