I suspect Jayco is not unique in this whole idea of tweaking the same model year over year. A friend just bought a 2014 version of the same model 2012 Funfinder I own, and there are endless differences of details between them.
I suppose the manufacturer would call it evolution of the product to meet changing consumer needs or desires.
No doubt some of it is because the manufacturer sources some different parts at a lower cost to them.
