Yep.

That little bit of extra box width translates to a huge amount of additional interior space in the Rockwood. So we gave up a little towing convenience for a lot of interior space.

We purchased a 2019 Cherokee 274vfk this past November. Other than a small loose piece of trip on the bathroom ceiling that was easily fixed, our's has been about as perfect as it gets.

Just sold our 2017 Hummingbird 17RK and purchased a 2020 Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S.

I'd say quality is about the same with both, since I do all my own work I'm not too worried. The only thing I will use warranty for is expensive items like appliances, slide, etc.

The 2109S is only approximately 30" longer but is full width and seems huge inside compared to the Hummingbird.

The loaded tongue weight on the bird was 480 lbs, the loaded TW on the 2109S is 760 lbs.

I have on order a Rockwood Mini lite 2109S and can't wait for that puppy to arrive.
I like the fresh water capacity of 58 gallons and the color combinations..Was looking at the Winnebago but thought the 2109S gave me more bang for the buck.

We have a Hummingbird, our 2nd Jayco, and have been happy with it. Keep in mind Jayco still offers a 2 year warranty. I would recommend you consider a unit with a slide. They provide more room in a small unit.

We are looking at the Rockwood Mini Lite 2109S, Hummingbird MBS and the Salem 177FQ. (I am aware that the 177FQ does not have a slide, but we are not convinced that we want one.)

Model, day of the week, materials, plant of manufacture, market demand and of course price; all seem to influence quality more than Brand name.

The better made, lower volume brands, simply cost significantly more.

Our first Forest River was a lemon. Every thing that could go wrong went wrong and it was junk. (thankfully hurricane Irma totaled it)
Our second Forest River which we have now is perfect with nothing wrong and we love it.
I think it has to do with the particular plant where they are assembled.
