We have the same Eagle TT only the 2012 model. We saw this one at the Hershey,PA show...WOW. We really like our TT but whoever designed the 2014 must have been reading my mind. They've fixed almost everything that I wondered "now why didn't they do that instead of this" about. As for the island; yes, it is a mighty little bit of countertop for such a big TT (though the 2014 is better than the 2012 in that, too). I solved the counter space problem and also gave myself more drawer & shelf space by going to IKEA and purchasing a small island. It has wheels on one side & I just roll in into the "hallway" when we move. I never have to tie it down or anything on it (of course I don't leave anything on top). Now if they would just put a big window in the back with a TV slide in back of the fireplace and put in pull outs in the (deep, narrow) pantry they'd have a TT that NO ONE could beat.
