The early 2014 ECO's had issues with the DPF and DEF injection systems. My 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee has not had any issues.
It's a great vehicle and mileage is 22-30 MPG in mixed driving.
I had a 5200 mile trip this summer towing my Jayco 23RLSW throughout the west. Trailer about #5700 loaded. Actual TOWING MPG figured with pencil was 13.5
This was through the mountains of Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah. I had 1 tank driving around Yellowstone and Beartooth pass, Cody, not towing, that was 32.5 MPG.
The diesel option is about $1300 more than the Hemi. I have nothing negative to say about my Eco. The more you drive it the more you'll like it.
