Generalizing is dangerous in the jet vs prop discussion, but I agree any boat purchase is a tradeoff. In the NW, jets are very popular and frequently the right tool for the job with great resale value. There is no prop boat that can maneuver as well as an inboard jet at speed. They are essentially a 20 ft jet ski.
