Thanks for all the advice! I'm down in CA right now on vacation and still boat shopping. Pretty sure we nailed down our wants, needs and found a boat to fit them all. Made some calls and coming back at the end of the weekend to look at it, but if it passes inspection we are going with this Guy
We decided to take the advice and up the budget a bit and get something more turn key, don't want to mess with adding a bunch of options after the fact (I know we will anyway) but the raised fishing deck and tower really give us the versatility we want. I'll update when we finish the deal.
