Joining the Diesel world
It looks like I am getting rid of my 2008 F250 with the V10 and getting a new 2016 F350 Diesel. Can you kind folks give me some advice where I can go looking for information that I will need in order...

On a serious note, well if you didn't have new trans fluid already, Allison swears by Transynd atf. To the point that they used to (may still?) double the OE warranty on med duty transmissions if switched out. Worth a look see if you're OCD about maintence on your Dirtymax.
Transynd is what has been in our Allison since the first drain and refill. Complete drain. Just the 7 qt drain the times I have done the job. Might do it this summer again.
