I run Stanadyne year round. They have a winter formula to help with gelling. Our company buys it for our fleet vehicles (thousands), I figure it's good idea for my personal as well.
Keep an eye on the weather forcasts. If you have an early season cold snap you may want to go top off with #1. We had a dip to -20 around this time 2 yrs ago. Trucks froze up all along the highways and even in the truck stops. The winter blend at that time wasn't meant for that cold. I had a picture of a sign showing our area winter blend effectiveness for the year, but I must have deleted it.
