In WA you are allowed to request a reschedule. I have done it twice. They even allow you to request your own dates.
Let's suppose you were getting married and had invited 300 people to a $75,000 wedding, or had a non-refundable airline tickets to Tahiti? Would they make you miss that? I doubt it.
