They build these things to just to get through the warranty period, however , sometimes they don't even make it through the warranty period. :M
The less motors and moving gadgets , the better off we are. Especially for those that camp off the beat and path or do not have the skills and tools to make repairs while on the road.
After visiting one too many RV shows, i usually see potential buyers getting all excited over the fancy looking gadgets offered like an electric fireplace over a better built frame.
