Had the same issue, was able to free the cable by turning the handle. Once I got it to pull open, I forced down some Fluid Film. Seems like it gets full of corrosion.

Except for the front gray tank valve cable somehow freezing up and unable to pull. I had to go underneath the trailer, cut a little access door in the covering, and open and close that valve manually. Still don't know what's going on with it. It's just like the cable is completely frozen inside it's plastic cover. I'm sure it's an easy fix and our dealer with handle it.

Anyway, about the truck. I am completely in love with my engine brake. I can't believe how well it worked coming back down those long long mountain roads. I can't even imagine doing that with my old setup.

Over the total of 3550 miles my gas mileage per the info screen stated 9.5 mpg. I can be a little heavy footed at times. But not bad for me.
