Just back from California with new truck and fiver
We just back this past week from a 3550 mile roundtrip to Yosemite. I have to say the new F350 was amazing. That truck has so much get up and go. Even going up those long long winding roads it held whatever speed I wanted. I cannot believe how easy it towed the whole way. Never and issue, no sways, plenty of power. The wind blew very hard from the south on occasion and I felt it, but it never affected my pulling. I pull a 41' fifth wheel and it performed quite well also.
Except for the front gray tank valve cable somehow freezing up and unable to pull. I had to go underneath the trailer, cut a little access door in the covering, and open and close that valve manually. Still don't know what's going on with it. It's just like the cable is completely frozen inside it's plastic cover. I'm sure it's an easy fix and our dealer with handle it.
Anyway, about the truck. I am completely in love with my engine brake. I can't believe how well it worked coming back down those long long mountain roads. I can't even imagine doing that with my old setup.
