Looks like a quality supplement to you for using your generator without having it sit out on the ground, running. I do like your position to store it safely inside, when traveling or not in use.
Too bad Torklift did not anticipate this security issue and just use a punch out instead of drilled holes so as carriage bolts to be used. With a product like this they could have pre-ordered correct length bolts, aided with Ny-Lock nuts. So as only the carriage bolt head is exposed on the bottom With the Hex head in the holding area, you already have that height there. But with the feet of the Generator, it should not be an issue.
For those that don't have a welder, or a friend that could do it, simply use carriage bolts (triangle file will notch out the squared opening), Ny-Lock nuts and grind down the excess with caution not to grind off the nylon of the nut. Effectively making difficult to unbolt the hitch carrier when the Generator is locked in.
