I really like the mount, but not for traveling with the Honda mounted as low as the bumper. All too often in shopping parking lots I see people bumping bumpers. I can easily imagine my $1000 Honda acting as a push bar.
I would consider raising it with a vertical piece of tubing, about 24-inches. The higher the better, but not enough to block vision from windshield.
