I haven’t used the exhaust brake on my Silverado yet so I don’t know how aggressive it is, but from reading the manual it says when a trailer is connected to the truck (through the 7 pin plug) the integrated brake controller, transmission, exhaust brake, and anti-sway system all work together.
Supposedly, if I’m reading it correctly, when the truck senses the trailer start to sway the anti-sway system will apply the truck and trailer brakes slightly. What I don’t know is, if the EB kicks in and the truck slows faster than the trailer, is there enough movement in the trailer to also engage the anti-sway system AND does it happen fast enough to dampen (or stop) the bump?
