This recent ProPride Bump thread was posted by a ProPride owner who experienced recurring bumps when towing with a truck which had an integrated brake controller.
He was unable to eliminate the bump problem and decided to replace the ProPride with a Reese SC.

On a similar note. There is a thread on the Open Range forum of a member that disconnected his integrated brake controller and installed a Prodigy to eliminate the bump.
It is critical to set your trailer brakes ahead in order to avoid the bump. If the integrated controller does not have a boost or advance function, I imagine there will be excessive bump issues.
Instead of ditching the PP hitch the Air Forum member could have ditched his integrated controller.
