To answer the question the OP poses.....I added a second one to my last trailer which was 35' long. It helped a lot. Not sure if it will help you but it might be worth the $50.00 investment. I guess I would try it first unless I had money to buy a more expensive hitch set up. That's my $.02...keep the change.
