This past Friday I drove a F350 single rear wheel, 7.3 L , 373 gears with the new 10 speed , it is absolutely amazing how quiet it was in the truck the transmission shifted fine, most of the time during my test drive it was in ninth gear, I got the truck out on the interstate and ran it at 70 miles an hour in tenth gear and the engine was turning about 1600 RPM, I’ll pushed down on the skinny pedal and the transmission dropped about five gears and rpm jumped up to about 4500 to 5000, After that test drive I am seriously considering the 7.3 , , I drove about 20 miles and the truck was getting 13.1 miles per gallon and was climbing when I returned to the dealer
