Since I experienced high transmission temps on my Yukon, I've been paying a lot more attention to them.
I travel for work, and rent a car at least once a week, sometimes up to 3 different cars in a week. I'm in the habit of looking at transmission temps as I'm driving on the interstate, and temps from 190* - 210* are the norm. True for the Mopar ZF 8 speeds. True for the GM SUVs. That is what my new Expedition runs. Certainly true on my Cummins. True for just about every vehicle I have paid attention to.
