You've got a great combo. The 2014 GM half tons have at least 300 pounds more payload than the competitors except Ford's Max tow and HD packages which are rare to find. Compare to say Ram 1500 with 6800 pound GVWR and weighs about 200 pounds more than your truck. So much for 10k tow ratings and RVing. That's the more common problem with RVing newbies. "Hey I like this 7000 pound TT. I have 9000-11000 pounds of tow rating so that's even under the 80% rule. What do you think?"
