Couldn't agree more! We have a 2013 Sierra 2500HD Duramax/Allison and are considering going full-time (or most-time) with a fiver. The general manager at our local dealer (who I've known and gone to church with for almost 20 years) when asked about gross and pin weights for my truck by one of his salesmen replied, "Oh - that truck will pull anything on our lot." In fact, going by all the numbers and the 80% rule, I would only pull two or three of the many fivers on the lot that day (limited by pin weight/rear axle rating, mostly). So, when it comes to weights and capacities, you can't even trust someone you trust!
