If you're going to pull a trailer, might as well be multi-purpose. This 12' x 6' 6" trailer hauls up to 9 kayaks; or less kayaks plus a ton of gear; or bikes, or our snowmobile, or tractor, or bark chips, or lumber (the second tier is removable). It has 15" tires, so rolls down the road real nice, and cost under $1000. It's pretty well-balanced; even loaded, I can unhook it from the truck and hand-roll it out of the way if need be.
