I bought a jet ski trailer and mounted PVC pipe in lue of the bunks. That was first version.
Then I modified it with a truck ladder rack kit that bolts together. I assembled upside down sorta to fit the trailer and mount both a second kayak and a Yakama box to stow our kayaking gear;
I got the trailer off craigslist for $300 and have less than $500 into it for everything including the spare and the front wheel thingy.
