Some folks are scared to operate fridge on propane while in transit.
RV fridges can be operated on propane while in transit........mfg. have designed them to operate while traveling and they have features that shut them down safely IF issues arise
The fridges when OFF can hold temps for several hours......IF completely cooled down and as long as door if left closed.
BUT way chance spoilage/bacteria growth when fridge can be turned ON :S
Run it on propane and enjoy safe, cold food
Just think about this:
If unsafe to operate while traveling.......do you want to operate it while sleeping :H
