Huh? The propane leak detector will shut down the propane? Mine doesn't have any connection to the propane supply. Maybe you mean the safety valves that sense a high flow and shut down?
BTW, I always travel with the propane on and the fridge running.
SOME rigs have emergency shut-off solenoids activated by LP Leak Detector. If it is not ON/Good solenoid won't open. If it alarms solenoid closes.
SOME rigs........ mostly MHs------not many any more
BUT fridges have built in features......flame proofing. No main flame.no propane flow
