Do you have the tow package on the F150?
What rear end ratio do you have?
Standard cab, extended cab, or crew cab?
How many people and how much gear do you plan to haul?
As rbpru said, watch your payload. 1/2-ton trucks run out of payload before running out of towing capacity.
You'll need a weight distribution hitch, sway control, and a brake controller.
Real weights are 300-500 pounds heavier than the "brochure" trailer weights. Mundane things like batteries, propane, and options add up.
