Keystone Passport vs. Bullet

Passport and Bullet are both great. It use to be passport had doors and bullet did not. Only a couple differences. Passport is what keystone calls a step up. Bullet Premier is going to have more passport features.

Both are amazing trailers. Same build. Bullet may have the folding doors. The only difference is small stuff. You will be happy with both.

Wholesale. Like the folks in MI that sell and ship. Don't do it. All to often they deliver and go to a dealer for warranty.
Buy from a local dealer that will give you good service and stand behind the product.

Passport and bullet are both great.

They are 50/50? Flip a coin. You'll be happy with either one, they are so similar in all ways. But, before settling, you really need to physically step inside the one's you are considering. When you actually step inside them, and spend some time in them, you begin to develop a karma coming from them: color, carpeting or not, texture of ceiling, cabinets, even the fabric on the furniture will set of an aurora that will either jive with you or send your skin crawling. So, before settling, make sure you actually see both. Then decide.

Any Keystone dealer will service both, wherever you purchase it from. At least they should.

I have a 2014 Bullet 285RLS which we bought in Nov 2014 as a new "leftover and got a GREAT deal! MSRP was 34,000 and walked away for 19,995 and we asked for and got a Equalizer E2 WD hitch, Reese brake controller for my truck, power tongue jack and my wife asked for and got 4 aluminum mag wheels which were standard on a 2015 but not on a 2014.. We have used 1 season and had ZERO flaws and punchlist.. I was very surprised as I expected something to be not working with all the complex systems and gizmos... but NONE! It is an ultralight which we wanted and is a 30 ft box but weighs only 5600 dry weight with 600 tongue weight. Tows beautifully and is loaded with deluxe amenities! Check them out! Buy a 2015 if you can find one now with the right floorplan and save a bundle! We saved 5000 off the identical 2015 when we bought the new 2014 in Nov 2014. They are very slow now through Holiday... so don't wait until January because sales pick up with the new RV shows starting up and you won't get the deal you will before Christmas! Good luck!

When I was looking at a new TT and landed on the Keystone bullet. I went with the Premier so I would get the fiberglass front cap. Not only does it look better I think it will add better weather protection. With the Premier you also get the "barrel type" ceiling for a little more headroom..

Premier Bullet is very nice, pricier, but I guess I'm not as tall as you...only 6'1", so the 6'6" headroom in a regular Bullet was plenty for me. As far as the cap, I had read too many fading issues so passed on that. Other than that, they are both pretty much the same...except we had a set budget of 20K and wanted a 30 footer box and new TT, so the 285RLS was a perfect floor plan for the 2 of us plus dog. Great TT's!.. Hope you love yours like we do ours! Happy Camping!

We love our Bullet Premier. Has all the space and features we could want/need right now.

A little late to the discussion but I just did a walk-through on both a Keystone Passport 3220BH and Bullet 308BHS, both of which are twin units. Both units were a 2016. The sales rep told me that the Passport has been around longer than the Bullet (only 4 years for the Bullet).

My impression was this. The Bullet was a step up in terms of amenities. The aluminum rims, extra pantry space, extra overhead sofa cabinets, and solid sliding interior doors (vs curtains) for the Bullet gave it the edge. It was also priced about $500-600 more.

The only thing that grabbed my attention on the Passport was that it came with a standard queen size mattress (60x80). The Bullet has the RV queen at 60x72. It's funny because there is definitely enough space in the front bedroom to accommodate the larger mattress. Just need to add longer support wood on the platform, one of the first things I will be modifying.

I must have walked between the two units at least 5 times. Everything else was cosmetic differences. Quality of wood trim, fabrics, and craftsmanship was just about the same.

If you're looking for a bunkhouse model that is light enough to tow with a 1/2 ton vehicle and won't dent the bank too much, take a gander at these two. That extra bunkhouse slide is was sealed the deal on this floor plan over the many 1 slide, quad bunk models on the market. You can fit 5 kids comfortably in the back, and even set up a full size pack-n-play in it.

I also looked at the Bullet and Passport. I went with a Passport Elite line which has all the top end features standard. New for 2016 most passports have the arched ceilings which our '13 does not have. Also check out holding tank size. if you have 5 people in there. you want the largest capacity.
