1) A 1" lip makes it impossible to use your chairs? What do you do when you're outside on the actual ground? Maybe you can just add a 1x4 under between the carpets where the legs land.
2) My living area register is under the sofa sleeper bed. It does not affect heating.
3) Keystone is not obligated to add a feature that wasn't there. It's not like they took the door away after you bought it. A slider shelf will allow you to access the full compartment.
And I agree.... Did you not look at the trailer before purchase? I don't think you have any ground to stand on, as all of those items would have been clearly visible before sale. Buyer beware. All sales are final.
