Kitchen plumbing

I don't particularly like the present kitchen faucet in my Lance 1050S so decided to take it apart so I could get a replacement. I found what I consider rinky dink plumbing. One hose comes up and hot and cold are diverted from it.

A couple of 'inside the handle' plastic parts should be replaced, but I cannot figure out the brand. NSF 61/9 RV is all I can find on it. From that information, I can't even determine what faucet might replace it. Home Depot has nothing for this unless I make some alterations.

Yes, I created a mess, but I would appreciate any helpful thoughts.

Please note, maximum photo width=640.
  • Two "brands" used in RVs are Phoenix and Utopia. Good luck on finding parts. If you can't fix or adjust it, replace it with a known brand.
  • I love the one that Arctic Fox uses in their kitchens. The nozzle pulls out and acts as a sprayer. Very good quality for an RV. Not cheap crap.

    What did you 'got'?
A replacement faucet or parts to repair?
I replaced ours with standard kitchen faucet w/sprayer.
Baths another story due to diverter (wet bath).

I replaced mine with a nice one from Home Depot with the spring loaded arm that you can pull down and use it like a commercial kitchen faucet. I now regret doing that.

My wife liked it better than the one we had in the house, so guess what happened next.

    You are correct!!!

The house kitchen faucet now matches the camper. LOL

  • "One hose comes up and hot and cold are diverted from it." - I don't get that at all. There has to be one pipe for hot and one for cold feeding the faucet to have both available at the spigot.

If you mean both hot and cold feed the faucet, but there's only one spigot, then you must be British! ;)

Why not just install a "real" faucet from Home Depot?
