Thinking I see a couple of different/similar problems. The manufacturer didn't do their part to make sure it was right when it left the factory. The dealer didn't do their part prior to the PDI...you shouldn't have had any surprises like this. So now you're way past the "minor leak/drip" part and have a real mess on your hands. Believe I'd be a regular caller to the manufacturer and respectfully request that they replace this unit PDQ....meanwhile, to let you make use of it through your planned vacation while the new and perfectly checked out unit is on its way. The dealer needs to be reminded frequently that fixing a leak is not brain surgery and if they had done it properly, you wouldn't be having this discussion. Suggesting YOU fix it with silicone is totally out of line, IMHO. Handling warranty work is their part of this. OTOH, you need to be prepared to fix some minor things as they come up, which we can all agree WILL come up. Part of the "charm" of RVing/camping.
Being respectful in your dealings is crucial, I believe. Throwing the fit you'd love to throw will not gain you anything. I'm sure it's how you feel and with good reason, but you won't win any points with either the dealer or the manufacturer. But they need to see your number come up on their caller ID until this is resolved to your satisfaction. If the ducks don't start to line up pretty quickly, perhaps an attorney could impress upon them the seriousness of your problem. Having wet subfloor is not only messy, it ultimately turns into mold, which is a whole other problem. Remind them of this. You should have a total replacment that is minus all these problems. Good luck.
