Also looking at possibly buying a Kodiak 299bshl bunkhouse. Can any owners give me input please. Positive, negative, anything else that might give me insight on Kodiak's would greatly be appreciated...

I have a Kodak 279rbsl. Bought it new in 2014 and it has served us well. Have had a few minor issues that I fixed myself like some decorative trim that wasn’t glued on. A little wood glue and problem solved. Had cable loosen up on kitchen slide, tightened the cable and that problem was solved. Did have to replace the Advent air conditioner after 15 months but that was a Advent issue, replaced it with Dometic a/c and no more problems. All in all, we are very happy with our Kodiak.
