Yes, a very good trip report covering a lot of territory. The "Indio Hills" look like the Mecca Hills and no, you don't really want to camp your family there.
Between you and Nolan doin Borrego you're makin me want to go back too. When I first started going you could still catch fish in Fish Creek. When I met Peg Leg Smith he had two legs. And Fonts Point didn't exist yet. Fonts De Leon was on a health kick down in Florida somewhere. Truly though, we used to camp right in front of the mud caves of Arroyo Tapiado with big ol bonfires, listening to Pink Floyd's Ummagumma.
Nice pics all around, really nice to see a tc in the Imperial Dunes. If you wake up one morning and your camper's not on your truck, do NOT go to Mello Mikes house. It will definitely NOT be there.
