I consider KZ to be a "middle of the road" manufacturer. I was generally happy with our 2008 Spree 289KS. It did develop a wide variety of problems after 6-7 years. When it got to the point where I was spending as much time fixing it as using it, it was time to sell.
One of the things I look at when trailer shopping is the drawer slides. KZ went cheap on our Spree. The drawer slides were hung with plastic fittings, some of which cracked after being bounced on the road.
I would be willing to buy a KZ again. I would also be willing to switch brands for the right floor plan. My advice would be that if you like the floor plan and can get a good deal, go for it.
