Our tt has a walkable roof. The ladder we added was an option due to the large rear window. It will support up to 250 lbs. I go up there at the end of every trip to check things - it is part of our 'break camp' ritual. Our previous tt did not (have a walkable roof or a ladder) and it was one of our must haves in our new tt.
