Lagun Table Mounting System

Thanks for the information. I have a hand built system that is not really working out. Its made up of two pedestals and two table tops. I thought it was a great idea at the time, but my wife has another opinion.

I looked at the videos and it seems that they will mount on the front of my dinette seats.

So, what size is the table top that you affixed to the Lagun system. And are you aware of any suppliers in the US?

I wonder if the table set up that I have in my Four Wheel Camper Fleet would work for y'all? It's on a single pivot and rotates so can have it out of the way, or a specific angle.

I loved the table when I tested Northstar campers. The ability to pivot it effortlessly into virtually any position is awesome. I would like to still have the ability to remove it totally though.

It is easy to remove the Lagun table mount leaving behind a flush bracket. I doubt I will ever entirely remove the table. I just push it back over the seat and out of the way.

So far I have kept the original Northstar table top which 18"x36". The original table top is made of dense press board. I would say it is as heavy as a brick but that is a gross understatement. It is as heavy as a couple of bricks.

I did find at least two similar systems. Neither appeared to be cheaper, as sturdy, or as adjustable. The Lagun has 3 adjustments. The one mentioned above has two adjustments and definitely looks flimsy by comparison. The Lagun is not cheap, but very sturdy. It is also designed to be used outside in a marine environment.

Regarding the suppliers: The Lagun is a Swedish product so perhaps there is a way to order from Sweden. The price from Marine Teak was really good and the delivery was less than 48 hours from the time I placed my order until delivery. I suppose I could have checked with Northstar but I have had no issues in the past with overseas orders. I also found a US-based RV supply company I was not familiar with so I did not want to order from them.

I did this a year or so ago with a 24" round top I bought at Lowes. Truck Camper Warehouse is selling these Laguns which is where I bought it.

The lagun from Truck Camper Warehouse was 240- for the mount and leg. Cheaper than I found on the internet. If I remember correctly the 2nd mount I bought was 60 or 70. I bought the 2nd one so I could move the table. I plan on mounting it to my bumper.

It is $134 USD from Marine Teak. There is an extra charge of $35 USD for expedited shipping. Again, delivery was less than 48 hrs from the time of order. I ordered at night, it was shipped the next morning and arrived the following afternoon.

Marine Teak also specializes in high quality table tops. So far I am using the original top but I may make my own when I decide exactly what I want.
