Lance 1010 cabover strut
Have a 2004 Lance 1010, previous owner had an extended cab truck, I have a crew cab. The cabover strut is not long enough and I can't see spending $500 for 2 struts. Wondering if I could put 12inche...

My 2003 F350 crew cab and struts worked fine with my 2008 Lance 1050. The struts were too long with the new crew cab 2011 F350 dually so I moved the mounts on the camper back a few inches. That was in 2015. They are still there in 2019 with no adverse effects that I can see.
