I would assume the apparently major slide issue was something the factory wanted to do there. Too bad nobody did any apologizing; it's amazing how far that goes towards customer interactions. I've had some nightmarish issues with my transmission over the last year (3 full replacements and one time just repaired) in 8 months. I met with the owner and got no apologies or much of any feeling he cared how much sh!t we had gone through for an 7K tranny.
Glad you got things fixed up and hope things go well from here forward. Hope you stopped and did some camping or sightseeing on your way home!
Once things settle down, please post up on your truck mods and pass along your newfound knowledge on how it has worked.
