We love our Lance 1685. We looked at the 1575 because we're currently towing with a 2006 Toyota 4 Runner, 6 cylinder. The 1685 won because of the 2 axles and shower/bathroom configuration (didn't like the slide door for the 1575), 45 gallon fresh/black and grey water tanks (HUGE!) and some other specifics. The 1574 is 1000 lbs lighter, but has only 1 axle and 26 gallon tanks, plus that sliding bath door.
We have the 2014 1685 - the year before Lance went to the new front windows. Ours is trouble free and the window has a fold down exterior cover (not sure what you call it). The blinds - including black out blinds and daylight blinds are easy to work. No complaints at all after 10,000 miles. We've had the trailer for exactly one year and spent over 150 nights in it so far ... definitely a good addition to our lives!
