I am looking at both models, also. Pricewise, with the same options, they are the same price. Same base price for each model. So, the difference in price is based on options, and dealer fees. You must compare the Build Sheets to see what is missing from the cheaper ones.
Different dealers charge different freight and prep charges. I have two dealers within 2.5 hours of me, and there is a difference of $900 in freight, and about $1,000 in dealer prep.
Decide what options you must have, and what extras you are willing to pay for. Check the Build Sheets for each unit, to make sure that you are comparing identical units, or units with almost the same options. PM me if you want a Build Sheet from Lance, so you can see the available options, and check which ones you want, to make sure nothing is missing from your preferences.
Oh, yes. A skinny person can get into the bathroom with the slide in on the 1985; no problem at all in the 1995. I believe the fridge can be accessed with the door open about a foot, in either model, with the slide closed.
Thanks for the info on the slideouts. I will be looking at these in person at some point, just narrowing down the possibilities.
I think the build sheet with all the available options is on the Lance website.
Am I correct in thinking that the dealer should have a list similar to the build sheet, showing the options that are installed on each unit?
