westend- I read your restore early on in the process. You were on of the motivations to go ahead with the process. I agree a lot of the wood is only discolored and may not have to be replaced, just treated. Most of it will depend on how hard it is to get it released from the interior wall board as to what I ultimately do with it lol. I will be upgrading the insulation and will probably go with the foam panels though you have made me think twice about it but I think I will appreciate it in the long run even with the extra work. I am planning on replacing all the electrical and plumbing. Most of the interior will remain the same but with several upgrades. The one thing about a TC is there is little to think about when it comes to component location and floor plans. I decided that I will leave the siding and roofing off till the inside is done just for the fact that I know I will forget something even with the list I have. My biggest challenge so far is not getting carried away and totally trashing something I may need for a pattern when going back together. I tend to get caught up in the demolition.
