I haven’t really looked into a 12Vdc fridge, I am hoping to get away with a cooling unit for the the one we have but I may do a little more research on the 12Vdc ones.
I got a little more tear down done this week. I have found the rot in the rear is very wide spread, it has even pulled away from the rear wall

I finally did some temporary support to make sure the rear didn’t fall off

I decided to remove the rear wall

And the shower assembly so I could repair the whole rear floor

After digging further I decided the whole floor needed to be replaced. I stripped out most of the interior, remounted the jacks, braced the rear of the TC and separated the walls from the floor and side rails

When all was said and done I have a bare, rotted floor

When we were done tearing everything apart we attempted to disassemble the floor to see if there was any good wood left and finally decided to rebuild the floor from scratch.
This afternoon we are going to stop by the local Lance dealer and check out the new TC’s, lots of upgrades to consider since 1987. As the DW said “now is the time if we want to change the floor plan”
