Thanks everyone for the kind words. I hope to get back out there in the next few week and see where I'm at with it. Like I said in my post I do feel fortunate the other that the structure and the shower most of the interior of the camper is stored in my shop. I was thinking about giving up on it and just getting a newer camper, but after doing some shopping around I still think I can build a better constructed camper for less. Even if I can't salvage all of the wood there should be a lot of useable material left. plus I learned a lot on my first go a round so if I have to start from scratch I think I'll do a better job thanks to trial and error and all the help I have gotten here on RVnet
