Lance 992 Slide not returning .. Anyone else?

My 2012 lance 992 seems to be giving me a fit.

Just looking for some incite form anyone else who has had any issues with the Lance slide/jack system. The newer style with jacks and slides being controlled by the one remote.

My jacks work fine on accessory 1 so all buttons work fine.

When I switch it to accessory 2 for the slides I have an issue.

The drivers slide will work fine in then out all works as planned.

The passenger slide will go out with the remote but will not return with the remote.

I have a taken up the step and checked all fuses on the control board all are functional and in good working order.

I can manually crank the slide in with ease, so there is nothing binding it up as far as I can tell.

Anyone else have this issue with the control boards or one of the many many parts and devices that make the slide operate.

Would be nice to have the key toggle again like In my older lance 881. Never had an issue with that system. Nothing but gremlins on the new camper.

  • Nice to see you got your slide fixed! Is there a breaker you could flip to do the same thing without unplugging everything?

    Side note:
Hopefully the birds get out of the bullpen and the OSV opened past 19.2km shortly.
  • There is also a Lance group online, Lance Owners of America which helps a lot of people
  • All fixed for now.
    Mental note.
    Unplug camper from house.110.
Disconnect battery pull off all wires.
    Turn off battery switch..
Walk away.. have a beer and
    Relax!!

30 minutes later plug in and turn on everything back in normal working order..

    Fixed..

Controller brain needed a good reboot.

    Well fixed for now..
    But working!.

Thanks OERV!! YOU GUYS ROCK AS USUAL.

if camper is on the truck... disconnect the wire that is powering the camper from your truck if possible simply just pull the fuse if you can reach wherever your installer put it.
  • yes waiting on an answer back.. had to leave voice mail.. I hope I hear back.
  • Have you tried calling Lance? That camper is new enough that they should have no issue giving you support, even if it costs you a few dollars, it's worth it to have a working slide again.
