The unfortunate reality is, a lot of campers, Lance included, did not allow for room to put the newer vertical tanks in their campers. My 88 LC980 has horizontal tanks, and I have found a propane wholesaler who will recertify for $15 and fill the tanks for roughly 2.30/gallon. The problem is they are only open M-F 8 am to 4:30 pm, and I am at work M-F from 6:30am to 4:30pm... So I need to figure out how to get there during their business hours to have the tanks certified.
