Lance TC Quality

I am going to look at a new 2015 Lance 1172 TC and would like to know from Lance TC owners their opinion of Lance's quality. It is a big investment and I don't want to purchase a lemon.
We are also considering a Host double or triple slide camper and I believe that I need either a 450/4500 or 550/5500 chassis, what are your opinions on this. I do not want to buy a 350/3500 and make modifications to enable it to carry these heavy TC's.

was at a auction week ago, the hole side was rotted away, but it was not well cared for, if you buy any camper, when not in use either cover or garage it. this was a lance.

Regarding Lance reliability, I own a 1988 Lance camper, and it's not flawless, but it's been in storage for the better part of 15 years. I'm slowly bringing it back to life, but so far, I've been very impressed with the durability of this camper.

My 2012 F350 dually has all it wants with my TC and it's not as heavy as what you are referring to. A F450 has only 100# more GVW so that means an F550 if I want to switch vehicles.
