Barney, never had a front window leak either on our many TC's, TT's, or MH's. Very simple! Buy cheap stuff, get cheap stuff and Lance RV's are far from cheap nor constructed the cheap methods/ways. Only leak in an RV we've had was In the rear wall of a Caribou Truck Camper and it was at the roof/rear wall joint and NOT from or near any window. Nope, we did not put it on the truck backwards so the rear wall was in the front either!

It has not been a weak spot on my trailers at all. I do a lot of travelling in all kinds of weather and it seems to me that if it were going to leak it would have done so by now.
That front window is much appreciated by my wife when she is working in the kitchen and by me when sitting at the dinette on my computer.

Regarding the fiberglass wrap around nose, that is exactly what my trailer has, and so do many others. it is called a cap.

It also has a cover over the front window to protect it. The lance doesn't.

Ask anyone who has ever had a front window, trailer or truck camper and you will usually hear a story about leaking. Just think about it, its like a hurricane up there when driving through a rainstorm 70 mph winds. They may not even know it, but the buckling on the front is a sign of delamination and you will see plenty of those.

Can you post a resource for your statement? I haven't seen any complaints about ithe front window taking a lot of abuse.
Not owning a 2015 with the redesign I really can't make a judgement, maybe an owner will chime in and give some "factual" information about the front window.

That front window without a cover is going to take a lot of punishment from road debris.

All brands have their issues. I looked at Lance and liked some things about them such as their low height. They also do not use Lippert frames which is a big plus. I ended up with Northwood, simply because the finishing seemed better and they had a fiberglass nose. I also did not like the front windows in Lance. Any front window on any RV is a leak waiting to happen, but I believe you can order without them. I would take Lance over any Forest River product anytime.
