Lance truck camper for F350

We have a 2008 Ford F350 Diesel single axle 8' box and we are looking at a 1994 880 Lance camper. I need some advice, I have never had a pickup camper so I need some help. The F350 list GVWR @ 11,500, front 6,000 & rear axle 7000. The tires are rated E with max load of 3640 with single axle. Tires are Continental LT 275 / 70 R18. The camper specs are as follows.Length 10'9" Width 93" Height(Interior) 6' 6 1/2" Fresh Water Tank 33 gallons Gray Water tank 19 gallons Black Water tank 22 gallons LPG Tanks(No./Gal) 2/5 Extended Cabover Dry Weight 2,730 lbs. Length Overall 18'10" Center of Gravity 52". So how am I for load weight and I do not understand the center of gravity, is that measured from the front of the box or from the tailgate? Would I have to bag the truck? Thank you
  • You'll need to add material under the camper (about 2") to get it to clear the roof of the cab.

Lance center of gravity at the time was measured from the rear of the bed if I remember correctly (they have since changed to the front the bed).

Weight wise, you will be totally fine.
