Looking at the states you indicated:
Texas - not specified
Oklahoma - 40ft
New Mexico - 40ft
Since a lot of your time is spent in Texas and Oklahoma, I wouldn't go longer than the 39ft you're looking at (1 foot won't make that much difference at that point).
