If you are talking about a gas engine 2,000 rpms is nothing going down the highway at 70 mph. Your trans has already accounted for your rear axle ratio by using overdrive gears. I would not mess around with it. Stay with the stock tire size. Larger size tires will reduce the amount of power you have. Your speedo will not be accurate.
