Larger tires on F350
I'm thinking about replacing my stock 275/70/18 tires with 285/75/18 Toyo AT II tires...has anyone else put this size on their Ford (2012 F350 6.7 diesel)?? Thanks, Larry

I had one parked right next to me today, looked sweet but it was tall. Not sure it would match up with a fiver though. I would never chain the front end and I don't think Ram or Ford would recommend it either so clearance wouldn't be a problem for me.
Has a manufacturer ever recommended chaining the front . I have been chaining the front end on nearly every truck I've owned when hunting . The front is much more effective when chaining up and have chained all four many times . Never an issue other then turning sharp .
You would chain your front if you were in snow to nearly your front bumper :B
Yes I've been there and chain's ain't going to help that. That's why they make plows :B Actually I've only chained up the rear maybe 3 times in the last decade but that was for ice down the mountain road, not snow. At 300" per year I rarely even need a 4WD truck, about any AWD SUV can get the job done with the right tires..... No studs BTW :B
